She attends after school events to support her schoolmates. She is one of the school’s top performers in our Show Choir, Advanced Choir, and Drama classes. Her confidence on stage and in front of people is second-to-none. She sings the National Anthem at our home games, receiving compliments not only from peers, but even the parents of opposing teams.
She immediately got involved this fall in volleyball and became one of our most important players. She has taken important roles in our Student Leadership class and has represented CMS at several meetings of the New Mexico Association of School Councils Central District.

For three years, he has been one of Cleveland’s steadiest students. The teachers and staff can always count on him to do the right thing. As he always has, he completes his work without fail, which has earned him another quarter in middle school with all A’s and B’s. He also has a great friend group, which no doubt contributes to his polite and caring nature.
He has begun 7th Grade successfully and positively. His academic work ethic is strong and he has developed an organization style that works well for him. He strives to go above and beyond with assignments and classwork.
He has started 6th grade charging right out of the gates! He is a task master, always completing his assignments, getting parent grade check signatures and following through with all the responsibilities of a new middle schooler. What truly sets him apart is his drive to go above and beyond expectations—like when he turned a simple TinkerCAD avatar assignment into a creative project by designing an entire castle to accompany his avatar.
His kindness and patience make him a positive influence in the classroom, and because he picks up new tasks so quickly, he often takes on a leadership role, guiding his peers when they need help. Finishing the quarter with straight “A+”s, he has demonstrated that he has the strength and determination of a true Colt!
He is caring and principled, a role model of the best kind. He exemplifies kindness so naturally and consistently that it's evident these traits are an integral part of his character. He has many times helped his classmates who don't understand, who are behind, or who aren't behaving, yet all the while displaying genuine humility. And students listen to him. They don't resent his help, they look up to him. He is an everyday hero, who spreads love and kindness to all around him.
She is a new student to Cleveland and has arrived with all of the energy and great attitude that we as teachers wish we had in every student. She has joined the Think About It Thursday club with a bang, making episodes fun and engaging, and showing excellent leadership. She has been an overall force for good at Cleveland, an excellent example of student.
He is very helpful and kind. Every morning he comes into 1st period and takes control of the announcements. In science class he is engaged and excited to learn. He helps others and is confident enough to ask questions when needed to help his and others' understanding of difficult topics. He is also organized which helps him to have work completed and ready to turn in.
She initially had some anxiety about her placement in the Accelerated Math class. However, she has performed exceptionally. A model student, she asks engaging questions, and works well both alone or in a group. She is efficient with her time management in class. And to top it all off, she is a fantastic artist as well!
